::::::::::: HUMAN NATURE FESTIVAL 2015 ::::::::::
———- July 24th – July 27th, 2015 ———
Human Nature is back for three amazing days and nights!
The Human Nature Festival returns for its fourth year, bringing you the same great vibes and high quality production! Human Nature is a multi-genre musical experience complete with vast array of arts and culture in a lush forested setting, featuring with multiple stages, high fidelity sound systems and vivid visual displays set against majestic mountains, sunlit fields, misty mornings and warm forest vibes.
Human Nature is an exploration into the human psyche through music, light, art and creative human expression. Multiple stages and community spaces meander throughout the venue, creating the setting for cathartic and often times mystical journeys that transcend category or genre. As in previous years, our musical line-up includes electronic dance music, conscious hip-hop, cutting edge fusion-electronica and live bands.
This year’s Art Dome is hosted by Portland-based art collective Cloud.Break, bringing together notable visionary artists from around the North West in a truly collaborative setting. The Art Dome will involve the works of dozens of artists, and host a diverse daily offering of workshops and seminars. As in previous years, there will be art pieces that evolve throughout the weekend!
Our CommUnity village, new this year, will be home to multiple activities, participant-based creations, and gathering spaces, including our KIDZONE, the Healing Collective, and the Invigoration Station. In addition to daily yoga and tai-chi sessions, there will be skills workshops on a wide range of subjects, including everything from flow arts to music production. Expect some unique workshops on electronic media arts, slack-lining, and drum theory, just to name a few.
This time Human Nature is in a new location in Marcola, Oregon in the Mohawk Valley, even closer to Eugene and Portland than ever before! Nestled in the foothills of the lush Cascade Mountains, this property has been home to many other great events in the past including last year’s Mohawk Valley Music Festival, and NorthWest World Reggae Festival.
For one weekend in July, Human Nature brings together amazing musical performances, visionary artists, transformational culture, movement arts, collaborative artwork, and most importantly, YOU!
We highly encourage you to stay until Monday this year, as our Sunday night activities are usually one of the highlights of the festival. Festival Go-er’s are welcome to stay through the afternoon on Monday, July 27th.

:: CAMPING/CAMP HOST ::
If you choose not to purchase a Camping Pass for the car camping lot, expect to have to carry your camping gear from vehicle parking, into the camp grounds. A hand truck or wagon is advised unless you upgrade to Car Camping. Camping may get to be pretty tight by the time the majority of our attendee’s are situated. We don’t suggest bringing your white picket fence and expecting that people will be happy about you taking up a ton of space, but if you get there early you’ll be able to find a nice spot, without issue. If you should have issue with your neighbor, please look for the Camp Host, or go to information and ask for the Camp Host. Unless your situation is an emergency, DO NOT CALL FOR SECURITY. We have a designated Camp Host to Handle these situations, and security is most likely off handling more important things.
DO NOT BRING GLASS : DO NOT BRING GLASS : DO NOT BRING GLASS : DO NOT BRING GLASS : DO NOT BRING GLASS : DO NOT BRING GLASS
This is a working farm with grazing horses and other animals that live off the land. Any glass bottles will be confiscated at the gate. We don’t want to take your alcohol, but the staff will definitely drink it if you bring it in glass bottles. SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE. BRING ONLY BEVERAGES IN ALUMINUM CANS!!!
:: TRASH/RECYCLING :: Please be respectful and DO NOT LITTER. Recycling Stations For “Deposit-ables Only” and “Other Recyclables” will be placed throughout the site. Trashcans will also be available at these stations. Please aim to reduce your consumption of trash by using recyclable materials and reusing plates and cups when visiting Food Vendors.
:: SECURITY :: We have hired friendly, round the clock security that will be patrolling the festival for your safety, as well as to help our guests stay safe in a non-intrusive, non-aggressive way.
:: MEDICAL/SAFE SPACE :: If you need medical assistance, there is FREE on-site Medical Station, as well as a Safe Space for people wrestling with the innermost aspects of their Human Nature. Massage Therapists and Energy Workers are also available for body-work at the Healing Collective, Next to Safe Space and the Medical Tent. There may be a small fee for these services, for a price determined between you and the therapist. Please note that there is limited cell phone service on the property, so in the event of a medical emergency, please alert MEDICAL near the INFO BOOTH or find someone with a radio so that we can relay a message to the front of the property where there is a telephone.
:: PORTO POTTIES :: There are multiple port-o-potties on site and daily service to keep them clean. The festival has ADA compliant bathrooms, as long as everyone respects the porto’s then everyone can enjoy the festival in comfort.
:: DRIVING :: Driving on-site during the event is not allowed, unless you are arriving or departing. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE FOR FUN. It’s Dangerous and Stupid, and jeopardizes the entire events future. We take this very seriously, and will prosecute property damage or personal injury to the full extent of the law, including reporting DUI’s to the Lane County Sheriff. SERIOUSLY, DON’T BE AN IDIOT!!!
If you must leave, there is no re-entry fee, and you may lose your parking spot as the car park is separate from the camp sites due to safety concerns, unless you pay for a car camping or R.V. pass, in which case your vehicle will be assigned a space for the duration of the festival.
:: LIFE FLIGHT/ FIRE LANES :: There is a dedicated Helipad for Life Flight in case of emergency. Under no circumstances are guests allowed to park their car or set up tents in this field, as it must be kept clear for emergencies. Also, do not set up your camp on any of the dirt roads through the campsites, as the pathways through the property are also the Fire Lane for emergencies and porto potty servicing.
